Celsa begins rolling mill construction in France

Spanish-headquartered long products supplier Celsa has announced the initiation of construction work for its rolling mill in France, Kallanish learns from the company.

“This operation will position Celsa as the largest steel complex in southern France and will be an element of great strategic value for the Group’s growth. The new rolling mill is expected to be operational in twenty months. Celsa estimates that around 140 new direct and 420 indirect jobs will be created in addition to its current 1400 employees in France.
