Ferona, a.s. announced today the appointment of Ing. Jan Moravec, PhD., member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Corporate Audit of Ferona Group as the new Chairman & CEO of Ferona a.s..
Ing.Jan Moravec, PhD. will succeed Ing. František Kopřiva who will resign the position of the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer as of 30th June 2020.
Ferona’s Supervisory Board would like to express its thanks to Mr. Kopřiva for his work in the management of the company and the whole Ferona Group.
He has ensured that the company has continued to move forward both strategically and operationally, and has delivered results. He will work closely with Jan Moravec to ensure a smooth transition and support its preparation for the challenges of the present and future commodities markets.
Ing. Jan Moravec, PhD., benefits from deep knowledge of the operations of the company and Ferona Group and has several years of experience of working on the Board of the Company.
The Supervisory Board is, therefore, convinced that he has the required qualities for the successful leadership of Ferona in the years to come and that he can count of the full support of the managers and employees of Ferona as well as our business and financial partners.
