Jordan International takes control of Hellenic Steel

US-based company Jordan International, controlled by the Milikowsky brothers, has officially been given the green light by local authorities to take over Greek coil re-rolling mill Hellenic Steel, a source close to the new investor confirms to Kallanish.
The plant is set to produce some 350,000 tonnes/year of finished products, employing around 400 workers. The new owner is expected to invest over €100 million ($114m) in the mill.
Hellenic Steel ceased production in 2014.
