Stalprofil, Izostal consortium bags yet another tender win

A consortium of Stalprofil and Izostal has been chosen as the preferred bidder in a tender to supply DN 700 coated pipe to Gaz-System for the construction of the second Poland-Latvia pipeline. The length is 72km.

The net value of the bid is PLN 65.4 million ($17m). Deliveries will take place from 1 January to 31 July 2020.

Last month the same consortium was chosen as the preferred bidder to supply DN 1,000 pipe to Gaz-System for the construction of the third Pogorska Wola-Tworzen pipeline.

Stalprofil’s steel sales in the nine months through September 2018 rose 5% on-year to 172,251 tonnes, while steel structures sales grew 23% to 2,307t. Nine-month revenue increased 28% to PLN 1.09 billion and net profit grew 43% to PLN 25.5m.
