Swedish steel producer Stegra has selected three port and logistics partners in Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom to handle steel shipments from its Boden facility to customers across Europe.
The company announced that it will work with Haeger & Schmidt Logistics in Duisburg, Germany, PSA Breakbulk in Antwerp, Belgium, and TST – Thor Shipping & Transport in Hull, the United Kingdom.
These partnerships will form part of Stegra’s logistics network connecting its operations in northern Sweden with customers across Europe. The partners, experienced in steel transportation and multimodal logistics, will provide access to key industrial regions and customer hubs by sea, rail, road and barge.
Stegra continues to develop the necessary infrastructure and partnerships ahead of shipments from Boden. The company stated that the three new partnerships represent an important step in preparing its supply chain for operations in Boden.
