EU sets provisional AD duties on stainless flats

The European Commission has announced the imposition of a provisional antidumping duty on imports of certain hot rolled stainless steel sheets and coils originating in Indonesia, China and Taiwan. The opening of the investigation dates back to last August and followed a complaint lodged by the European Steel Association (EUROFER).

The commission has set provisional antidumping duties of 17 percent for Indonesia, 14.5-18.9 percent for China and 6.0-7.5 percent for Taiwan.

These will be valid for a period of six months.

The products currently fall under HS codes 7219 11, 7219 12, 7219 13, 7219 14, 7219 22, 7219 23, 7219 24, 7220 11 and 7220 12.
