Italian steelmakers’ association Federacciai has appointed Duferco Italia Holding chief executive Antonio Gozzi as president for the period 2022-2024, Kallanish learns from Federacciai.
Gozzi, who holds the role of vice president, will replace current president Alessandro Banzato.
“President of Interconnector Energy Italia and representative of the hard to abate sectors of (industrial association) Confindustria, Gozzi has been working for months on the energy transition dossier and the impact it has on the Italian industry strategic sectors. He was already president of Federacciai from 2012 to 2018,” the association says in a note.
