Turkish Koç Group has partnered with the Swedish green steel producer Stegra

The Swedish green steel producer Stegra has entered into a strategic partnership with Koç Holding and the Koç family as part of a capital increase carried out to finance its plant in the city of Boden.
According to a report by the Swedish financial publication Dagens Industri, based on the company’s share register, Stegra has issued a total of 850 million new shares to finance the construction of its plant.
With this issuance, the company’s total number of shares has increased by 23 percent, and among the new shareholders is Koç Group, Türkiye’s largest industrial conglomerate.
Following the examination of the records, it was reported that Koç Holding and the Koç family jointly subscribed to 2 percent of the newly issued shares.
